Bo began her career with GSS in St. Petersburg in 2005, advancing steadily within the firm from staff to shareholder. Bo is primarily responsible for audits, reviews, and compilations for a wide range of clientele including not-for-profit organizations, insurance underwriters, financial service providers, professional employer organizations, real estate and mortgage banking investment companies and other service providers, both publicly and privately held.
As a leader of our Not-for-Profit Industry Service Team, Bo works with a wide variety of nonprofit organizations, leading assurance teams in the preparation of financial statements, performance of audit fieldwork, review of results and supervision of staff on engagements. She also conducts and oversees federal and Florida single audits under OMB Circular A-133 and the Florida Single Audit Act.
Bo is also a valued member of our Insurance Industry Service Team, working with property & casualty and life insurance companies. She has experience assisting clients with both Yellow Book and Blue Book statutory annual filings. Her experience also includes planning, performing and supervising control testing, claims, annuities and investments for insurance companies.
Education & Certifications
Bo earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Tampa, earning the title of Outstanding Graduate in Accounting. She also earned her Master of Science in Business Administration (MBA) at The University of Tampa. Bo is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Florida.

Bo is a member of both the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Bo is active in the community and serves on the board for The Children’s Guardian Fund and as an ambassador representative for Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inc. She is also an active member of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance.
Bo is a graduate of the Leadership St. Pete (LSP) Class of 2015. LSP is a St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce program designed to promote and enhance community leadership through a six-month, in-depth introduction to social, economic, business and political issues in the St. Petersburg area.
