Arising from frequent feedback of our clients, GSS has developed a purely educational Financial Boot Camp program, designed to instruct individuals about the building blocks of a sound financial plan.
The program will be a series of seminars, each focusing on a specific element of the planning process. The series will educate participants and allow them to interactively apply the teachings to their own individual plans.
To create a comprehensive financial plan, you should examine many aspects of your financial life including: tax plans, insurance, earnings and spending, estate plans, risk tolerance and investments. Through this series, you will learn how to construct your own comprehensive plan. The first session (held in August) explored what goes into determining “The Science of Your Retirement Number.” The next sessions will explore the ever changing landscape of the tools (Investments, Annuities, Life Insurance, Legal, College, Disability and Long-Term Care) commonly used in reaching your retirement number, and address how and when to apply these tools. The series was designed for participants to attend all sessions, but each session will enhance your understanding of the topic if attended separately.
