FIRM ADMINISTRATOR/COO
Responsible for planning, organizing and directing firm operations for expanding, two office CPA firm/affiliate located in a beautiful town in southern Georgia.
Essential functions include:
- Assisting Managing Partner in developing and implementing firm's business plan, and strategic short and long range plans.
- Forecasting and preparing annual budget and financial statements
- All aspects of Human Resources development and implementation including recruitment, selection, promotion, orientation, and compensation administration.
- Development and implementation of an IT plan that includes education and development of staff skill sets to utilize effective and efficient application of firm's hardware/software.
- Supervision of operations departments directors and staff
MBA or MS preferred with at least five (5) years of service firm administrative management experience Must have knowledge of:
- Principals and practices of professional services firm administration.
- Fiscal management with a strong financial background.
- Firm policies and procedures to manage operations and ensure effective client services.
- Principals and practices of employee development sufficient to manage the firm.
- Knowledge of computer systems, programs and applications.

The following five openings are for a small but rapidly expanding (large new contract) Government Contractor/Manufacturing Client located in Pinellas County, Florida.
Please note: All positions require experience working for a government contracting organization.
1. DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Masters preferred. CPA or CMA also preferred.
- Must have at least 10 years of progressive accounting and financial experience. Experience with Department of Defense and government contracts in a manufacturing environment mandatory.
- Management responsibility and oversight of the Accounting/Finance, Procurement, and Contracts departments.
- Reports directly to CEO/President.
Compensation to $130,000. Excellent benefits.
2. PROGRAM MANAGER - ENGINEERING
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, business, or technology field. MBA or Masters preferred. PMI-PMP certification required.
- Must have successful history of Department of Defense project management and supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Engineering and Technology – Practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Design – Design techniques , tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- English language – Knowledge and effective written and verbal communication utilizing sound rules of composition, spelling, and grammar.
- Computers and Electronics – Familiar with the manufacturing of electronic devices and automated manufacturing techniques.
- Production and Processing.
- Administrative and Management.
- Customer/Personal Service.
- Manage, coordinate, and direct all projects, develop detailed plans to accomplish goals directing the integration of all technical activities.
- Consult and negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications, and present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
- Direct, review, and approve all product design and changes.
- Reports directly to CEO/President.

3. CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
- Bachelor’s degree, 5-10 years of related experience.
- Government Contracts Administration experience required.
- Reports to Director of Finance.
- Negotiates, administers, extends, and terminates all contracts.
- Formulates and coordinates procurement all proposals as well as the activities in formulating bid proposals.
- Must have:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Familiar with FAR and UCC standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Familiar with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
- Knowledge of cost plus, fixed price, time and material.
- Strong customer relations skills.
- Working knowledge of DFAS.
- Knowledge of ISO-9001 and CMMI standards.
- Experience with ITAR.
Compensation to $70,000. Excellent benefits.
4. BUYER/PLANNER
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
- 3 to 7 years of buying, planning, and scheduling working with a DOD/Government Contracting organization in a technology manufacturing or production environment.
- Reports to Director of Finance but will work closely with the Director of Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP/MRO software and ISO-9000/CMMI standards.
- Supervise at least one buyer.
- Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and expedite flow of work within or between departments.
- Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, or services for efficient operation. Purchase raw or semi-finished materials for manufacturing.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, and production and distribution capabilities.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable and equitable prices.
- Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
- Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services to determine corrective action.
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes if necessary.
- Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories.
Compensation to $80,000. Excellent benefits.
5. STAFF ACCOUNTANT
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (from an accredited university or college).
- 5+ years of working in accounting.
- Experience working in a government contracting/manufacturing organization.
- Responsibilities include:
- All basic accounting functions including reconciling accounts, daily input of payables, invoicing, and receiving allocations.
- Process expense reports.
- Monitor accounts to ensure accuracy, Funding allocation and compliance.
- Maintain a variety of financial reports, statements, transactions and records in accordance with applicable laws, codes, statutes, rules, regulations, ordinances, and generally accepted accounting standards.
Compensation to $60,000. Excellent benefits.
